Luke 4:18 Fundraising: Beginning Wednesday, October 20 the Luke 4:18 Committee will be holding Rainbow Loom sales with proceeds going towards the shipping fees associated with our Northern Neighbours Christmas Packages project. The SJA community will be sending gifts to boys and girls in northern Ontario and Quebec as steps towards reconciliation. Rainbow Loom prices will be as follows:
Luke 4:18 Thanksgiving Food Drive / Turkey Run: St. Joseph Aurora CES will once again be partnering with the Aurora Food Pantry to assist families in need during this season of gratitude for all of God’s blessings. We will be participating in a Thanksgiving Food Drive Monday, October 4 to Friday, October 8 2021.

September 30 is Orange Shirt/ Clothes Day! On the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation we are asking that all students wear orange to school on this day. Orange Shirt Day (September 30th) is a day when we honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada and learn more about the history of those schools. September 20-24 at St. Joseph is Terry Fox Week! Classes will be walking around Confederation Park throughout the week during their gym classes and for Daily Physical Activity. A pink walking permission form was sent home for parents to sign and return.
