St. Joseph Cross Country Team 2019 Champions!
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Cross Country meet today! SJA came in first place overall. Grade level banners were also won by grade 4, grade 7 and grade 8 students! Awesome performance Jaguars!

Parents and guardians are invited to attend our Thanksgiving Mass on Friday, October 11 at 9:15am. Grade 4 students will be doing the readings and the choir will be performing.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
This week the Luke 4:18 committee will be hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive called the Turkey Run. The following high need items will earn 5 points for your child’s class: pasta sauce, canned meat or fish, peanut free school snacks, oatmeal/ cereal, baby formula, toilet paper, and baby wipes. September 30, 2019 is Orange Shirt Day!
Monday, September 30 is Orange Shirt Day and the students are encouraged to wear an Orange Shirt (or their regular uniform) to spread the word, raise awareness and honour our Indigenous community. This is a day where we talk about hope, kindness and inclusion. A day where “Every Child Matters!”
September 25 is Franco-Ontarian Day!
The Ontario government designated September 25 as Franco-Ontarian Day! St. Joseph Aurora will be celebrating the French Culture and all of the staff and students are encouraged to wear green and white!
On September 25 1975 the Franco-Ontarian flag was announced and this flag recognizes the Francophone community of Ontario!
